Who we are

We’re Philippa and Catherine — twin sisters with a shared obsession: UK press ons, nail art and the power of small details.

We created this blog together in order to be a space dedicated to everything about UK press on nails — from trending styles to honest reviews and inspiration for every mood.

Why Press On Nails?

For us, nails are never “just nails.” They’re a mood. Identity statements. The silent confidence that changes how you hold a coffee cup, type on a phone, or walk into a room.

We’ve never believed women are one thing.

Some days, we’re soft and girly. Other days, edgy and untouchable.

Sometimes we want to disappear into neutrals; sometimes we want to announce ourselves in black chrome and glitter.

Femmes fatales, cool girls, lazy Sundays — all of it belongs.

Our Mission

But here’s the problem: beauty often tries to box women in.

One aesthetic. One style. One “perfect” version of you. We reject that.

This blog was born out of rebellion — and a little bit of obsession — with the endless ways nails can let us shift, play, and express without apology.

Though we started in Portugal, our dream is the UK press on nails community:  a country as layered and multifaceted as the women we write for.

Until then, we’ve built this space — a digital journal of press on nail reviews, tips, and trending looks for every vibe and every mood. We don’t test the products personally, but we research a lot, compare, and write from genuine passion for detail and design.

Because press on nails aren’t just accessories. They’re a rebellion, a detail, and a little piece of power you can wear at your fingertips.
